EUnited has co-signed a joint industry statement together with 15 other European trade associations calling members of the European Parliament NOT to oppose the Commisson’s 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭 𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐀𝐜𝐭s. With the Delegated Act scheduled to apply from 1 January 2026, the statement stresses that opposing the act would undermine legal certainty for companies who already began adapting their reporting systems to the simplified requirements.
