EUnited Cleaning has this month finalized a study on legal warranty and spare parts availability.
This is a living document which was created as a consequence of the European Union adopting Directive (EU) 2019/770 on certain aspects concerning contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services (the "Digital Content Directive" or "DCD") and Directive (EU) 2019/771 concerning contracts for the sale of goods.
This document is also related to the upcoming Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), the upcoming Right to repair legislation, and the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive. It serves as a guide for those involved with both B2B and B2C transactions.
A summary of the paper can be found here. The full living document is available to members of the EUnited Cleaning sector. To receive the full document, members should contact Konstantinos Sapounas (k.sapounas@eu-nited.net).
