The automatica team took a conscious decision to hold automatica at the end of the year so that it can implement a tried and tested safety and hygiene concept that has been submitted to the State of Bavaria for approval. The purpose of this concept is to ensure the implementation of safety measures such as keeping distance, contact tracing, and compliance with general hygiene and health regulations.
Since the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs has announced that trade fairs may be held again from September 1, 2020, Messe München and the automatica team and their partners are looking ahead with confidence and with great excitement to welcome all exhibitors and visitors to automatica 2020 from December 8th to December 11th.
“The postponement of automatica to the end of the year was the right decision in view of the current situation. In December, the trade fair will act as an important catalyst for a successful post-crisis period and will help the industry to emerge stronger from the current exceptional situation,” said Wilfried Eberhardt, Chairman of the automatica Advisory Board, Chairman of EUnited Robotics and Chief Marketing Officer of KUKA AG.
Thanks to all automatica partners the Supporting Program of automatica 2020 will take place with hardly any changes.
In order to make the best possible use of the extended waiting period until automatica 2020 and to provide inspiration in the meantime, automatica is expanding its digital presence even further. For example, webinars will be offered on relevant topics and current trends from across the industry. You will soon find more details on the automatica website. Stay tuned!
